Calves need two doses of Blackleg vaccine to be protected. Adult cattle can also die from blackleg and should be boosted at least every three years.

Failure to keep their teeth healthy can result in behaviour problems, weight loss, painful sores in their mouth and various other problems.

Dogs and cats can have allergies much like people. Chronic ear infections or itchy skin may be caused by allergies and can be prevented with proper diet and medications.

Calves should be at least 1 month old before they receive vaccinations. At a younger age, their immune system is unable to properly respond to vaccine due to maternal antibodies.
